Micro needling is also known as skin needling, collagen induction therapy and percutaneous collagen induction, and is a procedure that rejuvenates the skin by the multiple piercing of the skin.
How does Micro Needling Work?
The micro needling treatment involves using a special machine with fine needles, to make numerous punctures in the skin. The body will then work to repair these tiny piercings and produce new collagen and elastin. Micro needling can be used on all skin colours and types, with no burning or bleaching, making it an excellent option for everyone.
Through this process, the skin becomes firmer and it can also be used to reduce the signs of, or remove altogether scars, stretch marks, dyspigmentation, sagging skin, wrinkles and reduce pore size.
Because the skin’s epidermis stays intact, the procedure can be performed multiple times and it can also be used in areas where some laser treatments and peels cannot.
