Eyelid Lift FAQs
Is anesthesia required for eye lid lift?
Before the procedure, you are given an oral medication to relax you. The entire procedure is performed with you awake using local anesthesia for a safe, cost-effective procedure than those performed using general anesthesia.
What is the recovery period?
A period of 4-7 days is required for healing. Some swelling will occur around the eyes that will gradually resolve over the healing period. If laser resurfacing is done in conjunction with the blepharoplasty procedure, the recovery period would be a week.
