How much does breast augmentation cost?
The cost of breast augmentation depends on the patient’s anatomy and also on if there are implants currently in place. In general, the cost is $4200 if paying with credit/financing. There is a cash discount given if paying for cash for a cost of $3995.
What does the cost of breast augmentation include?
Since there is no additional hospital or general anesthesia costs, the aforementioned fee is all-inclusive. The only other patient expenses are the prescriptions that the patient is given to have filled and the cost of a sports bra (if patient does not already have one) that the patient wears after the procedure.
How long does it take to perform a breast augmentation?
We recommend that our patients arrive about 1 hour before the procedure so that can take the medication given before we start the procedure. Most of the time, after the procedure, our patients are able to walk out on their own within 45 – 60 minutes after we finish. We ensure that there is total comfort throughout your procedure and allow you to rest in our state of the art facility after our work is done.
What type of anesthesia is used for the breast augmentation?
Before we begin the procedure, we will provide you with an oral medication that will allow you to relax. Local anesthesia are used before the start of your procedure. You will be awake during the entire process.
What do I have to do to prepare for the procedure?
We will have several preoperative discussions with you during our initial consultation. There will also be numerous communications with you once you book your appointment leading up into your breast augmentation.
What is the down time after breast augmentation?
Typically, a patient can be back to most activities 3-7 days after a breast augmentation procedure with some minimal limitations with regard to lifting heavy weights and strenuous activity.
After a breast augmentation, do I have any special instructions to follow?
Dr. Kaplan and the staff will provide specific postoperative instructions to you. In general, you will wear an Ace wrap for 72 hours and a sports bra for two weeks.
Do I receive a prescription during the process?
Yes. The appropriate prescriptions are given to the patient prior to the scheduled procedure. It is our goal to keep our patients as comfortable as possible.
What type of implants do you use?
Dr. Kaplan chooses to use saline implants.
Does Dr. Kaplan do breast Lifts and reductions?
Yes. Dr. Kaplan and his associate, Dr. Kin Yee, work together to provide a safer and shorter surgical experience than performed elsewhere.
